Following a thorough 2-day surveillance audit, reviewing all our policies and procedures, we are proud to have been re-certified for another 3 years with ISO 9001:2015.
The rigorous audit involved a full examination of the BEC customer journey, including documentation control and flow of communication, right from initial contact through to project completion and delivery. Because we work with clients committed to new product development and innovation, we’re often exposed to sensitive information regarding new product innovations, so one of the key audit areas was to ensure our customer security requirements were being met, which I’m pleased to say they are.
Our ISO 9001:2015 re-certification gives clients the added reassurance of our commitment to excellence, particularly those in the automotive sector who need to be absolutely confident that the quality levels of the components we manufacture for them are being met.
But the hard work’s not over. To maintain our accreditation, we’re continually looking for new ways to improve, focussing on implementing, error proofing and documenting new steps to prevent any recurrence. Our aim? To further streamline the QMS to improve our injection mould services even more by investing in staff training and development programmes.
