As of 24th September 2018, we achieved our ISO 9001 2015 Certificate a significant standard giving our customers even more assurance of our commitment to delivering excellence. We’re thrilled our continued hard work has not gone unnoticed.

Executive Director, Mark Elvy explains “this new standard not only helps us improve metrics, like on time in full (OTIF), but also helps us improve harder to measure areas like customer and employee satisfaction and engagement.”

With customers ranging from design engineers in multinational organisations to design agencies, here at BEC, we offer the full range of plastic manufacturing services all under one roof.  Adding value by offering customers innovative thinking, technical expertise right through to the quality of products we deliver and customer support from behind the scenes.

Achieving the ISO 9001:2015 standard is no mean feat and as the most up to date certification, focuses on quality management systems and performance.  Working with companies, ISO develop a management system that aligns quality with the wider business strategy.  By achieving our certification, we are proud to have demonstrated a commitment to improving communications, efficiency and implementing continuous improvement.

Matt Wigmore, Quality & Production Manager is keen to highlight “this ISO 9001:2015 certification provides unequivocal assurance to customers that we’re focused on continued improvement and customer satisfaction.  Our move to the updated standard demonstrates a desire to always perform at the highest levels of quality and efficiency.   The BEC team believe it’s essential to always deliver innovative, high quality and customer-focused electronic solutions.”

Since our documentation and procedures were already compliant with ISO 9001:2008, we only needed to make minor changes to our quality manual and overall processes and procedures to meet the new standards.  The most significant change will be to roll it out across the business as part of a total quality management approach.

Well done team BEC!
